Payment Terms

1. Payment methods and currency

Payment Methods: We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro and UnionPay, together with Shop Pay, Apple Pay and Google Pay where available. Other local methods may be shown for an eligible destination. The options displayed in checkout are the available methods for your order.

Currency: Prices for Germany are displayed in EUR. The supported destinations use their available local currency. Checkout shows the final amount and currency before you pay.

The final charge currency and total must be displayed before you agree to pay. Any conversion or cross-border fee charged by your bank is governed by that provider’s terms.

2. Authorisation and payment capture

Capture Timing: At checkout, your payment method is authorised. Charges are finalised when the order is processed for shipment. Payment must clear before goods are shipped.

An authorisation may reserve funds without completing a charge. Our communications must distinguish authorisation from capture. A cancelled or rejected order requires appropriate release of the authorisation or reimbursement of a captured amount. Split deliveries must not create duplicate charges.

3. Taxes, charges and surcharges

Germany-facing consumer prices include applicable VAT and required price components. Delivery charges follow the Shipping Policy. Any other unavoidable charge must be disclosed before the order is placed.

No payment surcharge may be imposed where German or EU law prohibits it. A charge that is legally permitted for another method must still satisfy applicable disclosure and amount restrictions.

4. Failed or duplicate payments

If payment fails, check the checkout message and contact your payment provider or our support team. Before retrying, check whether an earlier attempt created an order or reserved funds. For a suspected duplicate, provide the order reference and relevant transaction information with sensitive card data redacted.

5. Security and fraud checks

Payment information is processed through the methods enabled at checkout. We do not ask for full card details or security codes by email. Fraud checks must be proportionate and consistent with the actual data-processing practices in our Privacy Policy. Any cancellation or decline is communicated together with the treatment of funds already captured.

6. Refunds and payment disputes

A statutory refund uses the original payment method unless you expressly agree to a lawful alternative without cost. We do not impose gift cards or store credit in place of a required monetary refund. See the Refund Policy for eligibility and deadlines. You may contact us for billing support and retain any right to use your payment provider’s dispute process; prior contact with us is not imposed as a waiver of that right.
